Dishwasher detergent dispenser does not fully open or does not open

Issue

• The dishwasher detergent dispenser does not fully open
• There are residues of detergent in the dispenser at the end of the programme
• The dishwasher detergent dispenser does not open at all during the programme

Solution

Dishwasher detergent dispenser does not open at all during the programme or there are residues of detergent in the dispenser at the end of the programme.

• The detergent tablet was stuck in the dispenser and therefore was not completely washed away by water.
• Make sure that items in the baskets do not impede the lid of the detergent dispenser from opening.
• Do not place large items at the front of bottom baskets. Follow the loading instruction in the UM or separate instruction that is provided with your dishwasher
• Water cannot wash away the detergent from the dispenser. Make sure that the spray arms are not blocked or clogged.

• Test the dishwasher by running an empty cycle and see if the dispenser opens.
