Dishwasher is not heating up water
Issue
- The dishwasher is not heating up the water
- Dishes are cold after the end of the cycle
- No steam or cold when the door opens
Applies to
- Dishwasher
Solution
1. Wrong program selection may lead to poor washing and drying results
Select a programme according to the type of load and the degree of soil
For example, Quick wash program for very dirty and stained items will not wash properly.
Refer to your user manual for the best washing solutions
2. Check and clean out the dishwasher's filters and sump area, which could possibly be blocked with food particles
Note: Before maintenance, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the main socket
3. Over foaming - there is water and foam at the bottom of the dishwasher when the program is finished
- Use the detergent designed specifically for dish washers.
- Use a detergent from a different manufacturer.
- Do not pre-rinse dishes under running water.
- Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers.
- When refilling the rinse aid compartment ensure to remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation.
4. Run a Machine Care Cycle
This programme is designed to clean the inside of the appliance effectively and efficiently. It removes limescale and grease buildup. The programme should be run at least once every 2 months with a descaler or a cleaning product designed for dishwashers and without any load.
