Solution

Grey marks on laundry after washing in washing machine can be the result of any of the following

  • Lack of regular maintenance
  • Constant washing at low temperatures (40 degrees or less)
  • Blocked filter/Drain pump jammed or blocked
  • Blocked drain hose
  • Blockage in waste spigot/ blocked plumbing
  • Laundry not sorted
  • Wrong Programme / option selected
  • Excessive foaming/too much detergent
  • Chemical reaction between certain personal care products and the detergent.

Prevent your clothing from coming into contact with the following personal care products as they can cause different types of stains on fabrics:

  • Household bleach
  • Face cream
  • Shampoo
  • Perfumes
  • Gel
  • Hair dyes/dyes
