• The washing machine is locked and displays a "Key" symbol.

When the washing program Is completed, the key symbol stays on if there is water remaining in the drum

- The drum turns regularly to prevent the creases in the laundry.

- The door lock indicator ‘key' symbol is on. The door stays locked.

- You must drain the water to open the door

• Drain the water

1. Set the 'Spin' program

2. If necessary, decrease the spin speed

3. Press the touchpad Start/Pause.

4. The appliance will drain the water and spin

5. When the program is completed and the door lock indicator ‘key’ symbol goes off, you can open the door.

If the 'key' symbol remains on after completing the 'spin' program, perform the Emergency Door Opening.

- If the door remains locked in case of failure, it is possible to open it using the emergency door opening (if applicable to your model).

• Emergency opening of the washing machine door

1. Press the On/Off button to switch the appliance off.

2. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.

3. Open the filter flap.

4. Pull the emergency unlock trigger downward once. Pull it downward once again, keep it tensed and, in the meanwhile, open the appliance door.

5. Take out the laundry and then close the appliance door.

6. Close the filter flap.

Turn the machine on and check the display:

- If the 'key' symbol in no longer displayed, set a short wash to test the machine.

- If the 'key' symbol remains on, then the machine will require service.
