How to prevent limescale build-up in the dishwasher?
Discoloured dishwasher baskets or spray arms
Applies to
- Dishwasher
Solution
Regular maintenance prevents the limescale from depositing within the dishwasher cavity, dishwasher baskets and within the internal dishwasher system.
This will also stop limescale build up on the heater.
Limescale build up on the on the heater can cause poor heating performance.
Start the Machine Care programme with a descaler designed for dishwashers.
This programme is designed to clean the inside of the appliance effectively and efficiently. It removes limescale and grease buildup.
The programme should be run at least once every 2 months with a descaler or a cleaning product designed for dishwashers and without any load.
Important remarks about the detergent:
Local or unknown brand detergents do not always guarantee the same washing performance. For the same brand, the detergent manufacturer and its chemical composition may differ. Washing performance may vary completely and sometimes cause foam formation.
