Error F E6 or E7 on AEG electronic gas on glass hob and will not ignite

Issue

Error F is displayed, and cooktop will not ignite

Solution

Error F - The flame does not light up in 3 attempts

Possible causes:

• Burner cap or crown is not fitted correctly.
• Metal part of the flame safety device is dirty

Error E6 - can display of the hob is overheated and as safety precaution E6 will display

Possible cause:

The most common cause for this issue is using an excessively large port for a very long cooking period.

Error - E7- Can display when too many attempts to clear F have been tried

Refer to "Care and cleaning" video demonstration for correct assembly and instruction to clear the F fault, E6 fault and E7 fault.
