Fluff in the fabrics during wash or drying cycle – Washer Dryer
Issue
Fluff on the fabrics after the wash or drying cycle
Applies to
- Front Load Washer Dryer
Solution
During the washing and/or drying phase, some types of fabric, (sponge, wool, sweatshirt) could release fluff. The fabrics washed in the previous cycle released fluff of a different colour.
The released fluff could stick to the fabrics during the next cycle.
To prevent the fluff in your laundry, we recommend that you do not wash dark fabrics after you washed and dried light-coloured fabrics (hand towel, wool, sweatshirts etc.)
After the drying phase, clean the drain pump filter, clean the empty drum, clean between the folds of door gasket and the glass door lens with a wet cloth.
After drying fluffy fabrics, such as ‘new towels’, run a ‘Machine Clean’ program to ensure that any residue that may remain in the tub is completely removed and does not stick to garments on your next wash cycle.
To remove the fluff inside the drum:
Run the ‘Machine Clean’ program or select a program with a minimum of one hour wash time and minimum 50 degrees temperature.
Do not place any load in the machine during maintenance wash
Clean the drain pump filter after the cycle is completed.
