Fluff / lint on laundry after removing from washing machine

- Fluff on laundry after washing
- How to get the lint out of the washing machine
Applies to
- Front Load Washer
Solution
During the wash program, some materials such as wool sweaters and sweatshirts can release fluff. This fluff may stick to the laundry during the wash cycle.
To prevent this, we recommend:
Sort The Laundry
- Separate clothes that tend to give off lint (such as towels, flannels, and chenille sweaters) from those that are prone to attracting lint (like corduroy, synthetic fabrics, and dark-coloured clothes). This precaution minimizes the transfer of lint between items during the wash cycle.
- Checking and emptying the pockets of garments.
Avoid Overloading the Washer
- Overloading, can restrict movement within the drum, preventing clothes from being cleaned and rinsed properly. Ensure there's enough space for clothes to tumble freely, allowing water and detergent to circulate effectively and carry lint away.
Detergent type and quantity of detergent
- Low sudsing detergent is required for front load washing machines to prevent oversudsing problems, unsatisfactory washing result and harm to the machine.
- Too much can leave a residue that attracts lint.
Keep Your Washer Properly Maintained
