Tumble dryer is leaking
Issue
- Water leaking on to floor around the dryer
Applies to
- Heat Pump Dryers
- Condenser Dryers
Solution
Blocked Filter - Check and clean the fluff filter
A dirty filter restricts the airflow and may lead to poor drying results and moisture condensation build up.
At the end of each cycle, the Filter symbol comes on the display, and you must clean the filter.
If the filter is damaged, it must be replaced before continued use.

Blocked Condenser - Check and clean the condenser
A dirty condenser will cause poor drying results and must be cleaned regularly to ensure unrestricted air flow and avoid moisture build up that may result in leaking water.

Poor Ventilation
Make sure that there is air circulation between the appliance and the floor. The rear surface of the appliance must be put against a wall.
Unlevel - Ensure the dryer is levelled to avoid water leaking
Unlevelled appliance may lead to water leaking.
Ensure the dryer is levelled by adjusting the feet accordingly. Use a spirit level to check whether the machine is level on all its feet. The appliance must be level on a hard surface.

Kinked Outlet hose – External drain hose
Check the installation of the external drain hose is correct.
