Issue

After a short power failure, Demo appears on the display and my oven will not heat up.

  • After power failure or after the fuse has been taken out, the display shows Demo without setting the demo mode manually.
  • The heating setting, the temperature setting or other settings can be set, but the oven does not heat up.

Solution

Deactivate DEMO Mode

Please ensure you are following the correct instructions for your oven display

Ovens with command wheel

To deactivate the demo mode for command wheel models:

1. Switch on the device and select Menu with the command wheel.

2. Press the command wheel to confirm your selection.

3. Rotate the command wheel to find and select Basic Settings (last menu item).

4. Confirm by pressing the command wheel.

5. Rotate the command wheel to Service (last menu item).

6. Confirm by pressing the command wheel.

7. Select the first option "Demo Mode off".

8. Confirm by pressing the command wheel.

9. To deactivate the demo mode, enter the number sequence "2 4 6 8" using the command wheel to scroll and select.

Ovens with a TFT Touchscreen Control

1. Press Menu touch icon

  • Navigate through options using the touchscreen

2. Select Submenu for Service

3. Select - Demo mode ‘deactivate’ Off

Activation / deactivation code: 2468

Touch control user interfaces

1. Activate the appliance by pressing on/off icon

2. Press the 'up arrow' or 'down arrow' – to select the menu option

3. Press OK to move to the submenu

4. Scroll down using down arrow to DEMO MODE - Press OK to select

5. Select ‘off’ and enter code ‘2468’ using the up and down arrows.

Touch control with knob user interfaces

1. Select menu

2. select menu 09 – Demo Mode

3. Deactivation/Activation Code 2468

Push button Knob Control Interface

1. Deactivate the oven.

2. Press and hold + the button

3. The first digit on the display and Demo indicator start to blink.

4. Enter the code 2468 by pressing the + or – button to change the values and press the clock symbol to confirm.

5. The next digit starts to blink. Repeat step 4 to select next digit until 2468 code has been completed

6. Demo mode deactivates when you confirm the last digit, and the code is correct.
