Error F on AEG electronic gas on glass hob and will not ignite

Issue

Error F is displayed, and cooktop will not ignite

Solution

Error F - The flame does not light up in 3 attempts

Possible causes:

Burner cap or crown is not fitted correctly.
Metal part of the flame safety device is dirty

Refer to "Care and cleaning" video demonstration for correct assembly and instruction to clear the F fault.

Contact an Authorized Service Centre.

If the above steps don't resolve the issue, we recommend contacting an Authorized Service Centre.
