The drawer under induction hob gets hot
Issue
- The drawer under induction hob gets very hot
- What can be stored in the drawer under the induction cooking hob?
Applies to
- Induction Cooktop
Solution
If the appliance is installed above a drawer, the hob ventilation can warm up the items stored in the drawer during the cooking process.
- Check if the induction hob is installed according to the installation instructions.
- Do not store flammable objects such as napkins in the drawer.
- Do not store any small pieces or sheets of paper that could be pulled in, as they can damage the cooling fans or impair the cooling system.
- Keep a distance of minimum 2 cm between the bottom of the appliance and parts stored in the drawer
When in use, the drawer can warm up to 60°C. This is not a malfunction.
